Aaron Landon, star of Disney’s Crash & Bernstein, is coming to Portland with the “Dream Big School Tour”
Portland, OR: Aaron Landon stars as Pesto in the new Disney hit series Crash & Bernstein, which is “set” in Portland, Oregon. Aaron will be headlining the Portland leg of the “Dream Big School Tour”, at which he will be performing and sharing his own inspirational journey of how he started in the industry, his struggle with bullying and how he overcame and made it in Hollywood.
The Dream Big Tour will be in Portland/Vancouver from February 18th -23rd. Aaron states, “I’m excited to actually visit Portland, where the show is based. And I am really excited to hopefully inspire other kids to pursue their dreams.”
At 14 years old, Aaron is already a very accomplished actor and singer. Besides working on Crash and Bernstein, he also played the recurring role of Kid Nick in the hit show “New Girl” on FOX TV. He can also be seen in “The House of Lies” for Showtime as well as Young Irving Thalberg in “Paul Merton’s Birth of Hollywood” for the BBC. As a singer, Aaron was the youngest artist to ever be nominated and to win Male Vocalist of the Year at the 2012 LA Music Awards. He also placed in the top 19 out of over 40,000 submissions for the new singing TV show ‘Majors and Minors’ that aired on the HUB network. He said, “The highlight of the process was when Gene Simmons and KISS members snuck up behind me on stage and began singing their song “Beth” with me. I’ll never forget that feeling!”
Aaron will sum up his week by hosting the Aaron Landon Scholarship Auditions for Hollywood Launch Academy of Portland. Hollywood Launch Academy is a triple threat training academy for aspiring performers. Aaron has been a student at the Los Angeles campus for the past three years and will be able to hang his star among many of the alumni like Ross Lynch (Disney’s Austin & Ally), R5 (Hollywood Records) and Cymphonique (Nick’s How to Rock). Aaron states, “As a scholarship recipient myself, I’ve been so lucky to have this safe family to grow with and enjoy the journey of getting there as much as any eventual outcome. It feels great making the Academy accessible to another young person with talent and dreams.”
Aaron is available for interviews
